Travel RN – Case Manager

Location

Fort Walton Beach, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care hospital case management services within an inpatient setting
• Coordinate patient care plans, discharge planning, and utilization review activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate level of care and resource utilization
• Utilize clinical decision support tools to guide care management determinations
• Document case management activities accurately within the electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of acute (hospital) case management experience
• Proficiency in Meditech, Midas, and Interqual
• Ability to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a large, multi-specialty acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with utilization management and payer requirements
• Background working with cardiovascular, trauma, or oncology patient populations
