Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 8-OR suite with a 1:1 patient ratio across a range of surgical service lines
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for procedures including orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastics, and cardiac surgeries
- Operate and monitor all types of surgical equipment, including Belmont rapid infusion devices
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Participate in on-call rotation, which may include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call shifts on weekdays and weekends; 30-minute response time is required for on-call
- Collaborate effectively with charge RNs, surgical techs, anesthesia providers, and service line leaders to support quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience
- Active RN license applicable for practice in Colorado
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Transplant and/or spine surgical experience
