Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in a 130-bed facility providing both long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to maximize patient functional outcomes
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Participate in weekend rotation coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Expected 40 hours per week availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or short-term rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with skilled nursing facility operations and documentation requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
