RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient to determine an appropriate and effective plan for Respiratory treatments.
• Responsible to educate patient in respiratory care and therapy treatments.
• Help with patient discharge instructions when it comes to respiratory care services at home.
• Work along side care team in following patient care plan and/or make recommendations for changes in specific therapy treatments

Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Respiratory program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensing from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Understanding of health information technology and structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts
• Must have 1 year of recent experience as Respiratory Therapist
