Ratios “1:3 for Stepdown 1:4-6 for ‘Floor’ ”
Required Certifications BLS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Typical MedSurg population. Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, Abdominal Pain, Overflow for most services, hospice (will ‘flip’ patients to GIP Hospice on 7 West)
Floating Requirement Can be pulled to any floor or stepdown unit
