# beds 21- Beds (7 rooms are private, 7 are semi-private)
Certs BLS is Required – ACLS is preferred
Ratios 1:5-6 for both shifts (Days is usually 1:5, sometimes nights is closer to 1:5)
EMR EPIC
Floating Any MedSurg. The only units they would not float to would be ED or Behavioral Health
Common diagnosis / Types of patients Totals, spines, occ burr holes, seizures, cranies, brain stim, Traction on nights for hips, Bucks traction, MedSurg Overflow Additional Notes
