Hospital in central AZ in need of travel RNs for a Med Surg, Tele PCU float pool.

Must have ACLS, BLS, 2 years of recent med surg/tele experience, 1 year of PCU experience, and current state license required.

Unit Notes

Unit TELE

– Cerner experience required

– # Beds: 60 with the potential to go up to 98 (4 units under the same umbrella) They would be assigned to work in one of the 4 units (3A, 3B, 4A and 4B). They are all med surg tele, not a lot of delineation between them right now.

– Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5

– Required Certifications: BLS ACLS

– Common diagnosis / Types of patients: COVID, resp, GI, Diabetics, Tele, surgical.

– Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Reading basic tele strips

– There is tele, Monitor techs read and nurses verify strips.

– Floating Requirements?: Yes-There may be a very rare occasion where they would float to East Campus Med/Surg/Tele, or possible PCU if they have those skills at East or West Campus. – Floating for us is not that common.
