Responsibilities:

• Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
• Perform Line Balancing Studies using charts
• Should have experience working in BIW – Automotive robot weld lines
• Create Current State VSM and find out capacities of each cell
• Analyze data collected from shop floor and perform capacity calculation and cell utilization
• Analyze bottleneck in the process, understand current challenges and projects in place to improve performance
• Capture Process Videos for all Product Variants
• Data collection for time study and Perform VA / NVA / RNVA analysis
• Create / Update VSM for current state and chart out future state VSM
• Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
• Perform Line balancing studies using  charts
• Update work instructions with the changes and transfer to latest templates
• Material and internal supply logistics study and identify wastes in current process
• Propose process improvements to reduce the indirect labor cost
• Support in implementing the Process improvements

Education

• BS degree in Engineering: Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or technical field of study.
