Responsibilities:

• Set up instruments and equipment require for procedure.
• Sterilize equipment and take inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery.
• Pass the surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout an operation.
• Take a count of surgical instruments and supplies before operation.
• Recount surgical supplies at the end of operations.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgery.

  Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to use your hands quickly and with precision.
• Must be honest and ethical.
• Great attention to detail
• Good listening skills
• Must have physical endurance to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working under pressure
