Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for surgery
• Sterilizing and marking incision sites
• Giving preoperative instructions
• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed
• Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team
• Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care
• Preparing the operating room

  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• State approved nursing license
• Clinical experience
• Superb collaboration abilities
• Compassionate
• Availability to work shifts that rotate between nights, weekends, days and holidays.
