Responsibilities:

• Provide care to psychiatric patients
• Provides psychological support to patients and families
• Transcribe doctors’ orders and review charts
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Monitor patients progress and document changes to behavior and or health

  Skills and Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Master’s degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatry or mental health
• State RN License
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Great communication skills
• Must be willing to submit a drug test and background check
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and joint commission regulations
• Other qualifications may be required
