Responsibilities:

• Set up instruments and equipment require for procedure
• Sterilize equipment and take inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
• Pass the surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout an operation
• Take a count of surgical instruments and supplies before operation
• Recount surgical supplies at the end of operations
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgery

  Skills and Qualifications

• Must be able to use your hands quickly and with precision
• Must be honest and ethical
• Great attention to detail
• Good listening skills
• Must have physical endurance to stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable working under pressure
