POSITION SUMMARY The HR Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will be a member of the HR Shared Services team supporting Signodes global Human Resources team and business partners. The primary focus of this role is to support the achievement of business goals by influencing change through the creation and development of HR analytics and data insights while supporting the implementation of the global HR Shared Services strategy.

The BI Analyst is responsible for report and dashboard development that exceeds existing reporting with a focus on emerging reporting and analytical needs. This position will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data findings for human capital, financial, operations and strategic aspects of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Partner with the global HR team and business partners to understand critical and new information needs • Build and maintain human capital reports, dashboards, and metrics/KPIs that provide a precise view of performance• Leverage historical and current labor analytics and analysis to help align labor plans with company production targets• Collect, aggregate and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights for business performance• Monitor historical and real-time performance of key metrics to detect and report anomalies• Leverage data to identify areas of opportunity to drive growth, engagement and process improvement• Support global sustainability and diversity & inclusion initiatives through data and trend analysis• Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations• Leverage data analytics to optimize the companys global HR technology investments• Develop automated reports for HR and business partners access• Prepare reports of data analysis and presents findings to key stakeholders and senior leadership• Gathers business intelligence from multiple sources including company data, industry and field reports, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics or purchased sources• Prepare and submit compliance data and reports per external agency requests (e.g. EEO reporting)• Uphold and be an advocate for the protection and privacy of employee data Signode is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES • Proficiency with the organizations HCM system (Ceridian Dayforce) or equivalent• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python, and similar tools• Proven skills developing and analyzing advanced people analytics, HR dashboards and labor reporting• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)• Run SQL queries, provide reports or updates via visualization tools• Proven ability to conduct root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement• Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills• Ability to translate data and analytics to business needs• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work on various projects simultaneously• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment• Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy• Demonstrates strong HR technology acumen and pursues knowledge of industry advancements• Ability to collaborate, problem-solve and create solutions with all levels of the organization• Strong focus on discretion and confidentiality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field• 4 years experience working with HR Information Systems • Minimum 2 years experience using data visualization tools• Experience working in a global manufacturing organization is a plus
