Ultrasound Technologist

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Identify and observe areas of concern using sonographic equipment
• Assist Radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Prepare the exam room for examinations
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage several patients and priorities
• Work under little supervision and cooperate with other team members

  Qualifications

• Great verbal communication skills
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment
• Critical thinking skills
• Reading comprehension skills
• Interpersonal skills
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in sonography
