Management Registry, Inc. is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. With this assignment the LPN helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. The LPN will be accountable for ensuring the utmost in competent care and safety is delivered to all patients. This opportunity awaits a motivated and aspiring professional with long term care experience.





Licensed Practical Nurse Duties:

– Promote a safe, therapeutic, and optimistic environment

– Deliver safe management and assessment of medications and treatment

– Monitor patients for medication side effect and relays concerns to RN and MD/NP

– Consult with RN, MD/NP during patient crises to report and plan intervention for changing psychiatric and physical status of patients

– Provide bedside care

– Measure vital signs

– Provide accurate and timely documentation

– Collaborate healthcare needs with other disciplines

– Assist doctors and registered nurses with tests and procedures

– Collect samples and monitor catheters

– Provide wound care

– Support patient and family from the pre-admission process through discharge to achieve optimal recovery

– Assess and provide patient and family caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis

– Assist patient in learning appropriate self-care activities





Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

– License in good standing in the state of KY

– Graduate of an accredited nursing program

– Must have two years practical experience

– Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when necessary

– Current Physical, MMR or MMR Titer and TB test

– Basic Life Support (BLS) required

– Other qualifications may be required
